About
Hello, I am Jose, the lead videographer of Tideus Media. I have been shooting weddings since 2016. In 2018, I decided to take a step back and made wedding videos for other businesses around San Diego. During that time, I took the time to learn more about storytelling, color grading, and other essential aspects of creating a better wedding film.
In 2021, I found that voice while making a wedding video for my aunt where I got to make a wedding video of the very last words my grandfather had for my family and everyone in it. This event opened my eyes to the true meaning of weddings. It brought me to look at these films as a place for connection.

I have worked on commercial sets, weddings, with models, and in photography, but no place fits me best like weddings. The reason why is simple: none of those places had stories like weddings. None of these jobs put the sacrifices two people make for one another into perspective. I love the challenge weddings bring, and more importantly, I feel I get to make the most difference editing and creating wedding videos.
